Inside the Margalla Hills Glamping Capsule Project

When a boutique hospitality operator approached ABY about a hillside glamping site in the Margalla Hills, the brief was clear: hotel-grade finishes, a fast build timeline, and minimal disturbance to the natural slope.

Factory-built capsule homes solved the timeline and site-disturbance problem at once — each unit was finished in our Lahore factory, then craned into position on pad foundations rather than requiring extensive cut-and-fill earthworks.

Two panoramic glass cabins were added for premium suites, engineered with insulated glazing for the site's cooler hillside climate.

The whole cluster now runs on a shared ABY Solar Energy microgrid, keeping the site's operating costs low and its footprint light — a good example of how our engineering and solar divisions work as one team on a single project.
